I am a technology investor interested in frontier technologies, markets, and culture.
These days, I'm a partner at Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), where I focus on investments in emerging platforms for the physical world like robotics, autonomous science, and new interfaces. I also helped start our engineering fellows program to support researchers and engineers building in these fields.
Before becoming an investor, I worked on startups.
-
I was previously an early team member at Mos, an education and fintech company, working on product and operations and later as chief of staff.
-
Before that, I worked in consumer fintech, with a focus on analytics and operations for a consumer credit business across the US and Latin America. I have also spent time as a venture fellow at Susa Ventures and growing software developer ecosystems across Africa at Andela.
-
I studied public and international affairs as an undergraduate at Princeton, and conducted research on rural broadband policy, investor-state disputes, and energy infrastructure. I'm also a fellow at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, focused on political economy.
Outside of technology, I spend my time making art and music, dabbling in endurance sports, and learning about history and archaeology.
